The ballot says “verification of biological sex by students’ healthcare providers.” It doesn’t say what that would mean for every girl on a girls’ school team, or who would pay for it.
Can't even imagine the horror this places on intersex kids. Like when you're trans you know some kind of outing in your life is inevitable. But imagine you are cis and suddenly your sex is contested as a kid. Imagine you didn't even know you were intersex. Or you have CAIS and a transphobic doctor goes "well, last lab work showed male testosterone levels, I can't in good conscience write female." It's all f'cked up.
I can only say genital exams were horrid for me as a kid and they still were for the draft. And you *feel* the difference between an exam for your own health or because your body is judged for some standard. No matter whether you are cis or trans, no matter whether you are non-binary, boy, girl, man or woman.
