What is your criteria for someone to be “transsexual”? I was born 70+ years ago with gender incongruence, but have never met — and will never meet — the Harry Benjamin definition that some trans folk still insist on.
My criteria is that someone pitches a piece that I want to publish. I’m not gatekeeping identity, it’s just a fun tagline aimed at promoting the concept that we are now in the fourth wave.
Thank you. Too many of us seem too persnickety about how we define “our” gender incongruence as being the only “correct” gender incongruence, which I find too annoying to waste my patience on.
