Silence allows really terrible things to happen to innocent people and that is what we are facing. I’m 69 years old and this has a much different feel. Allies come in varying degrees. Some will visibly support us but most just accept and support us in their minds. I work in a very large car factory where I transitioned almost 20 years ago. From day one the kindness I received was beyond my expectation.
Having said that, the hate that is shown by those pushing the anti trans agenda is hurtful.
